R ODonohue 180x270Bob O’Donohue’s professional experience is based on 25 years of comprehensive accounting experience in the construction industry, including corporate, field, and multi-office responsibilities. His expertise includes strong analytical skills with experience in auditing cash, A/R & A/P, union benefits, forecasts, budgets, development and management, human resources, employee safety, and company safety programs. In addition, he has a computer background in evaluating hardware and software needs, writing specifications, installation of systems, financial relationship builder, calculations of damage analysis, impacts and litigation support.

Bob is adept at auditing new clients and new branch locations diplomatically, building a rapport with staff members to generate cooperation. He has the proven ability to gain a comprehensive understanding of a situation, identify relevant issues, and execute the appropriate steps to complete an engagement.

Selected Project Experience

  • Responsible for contract administration including change order negotiations, collections and close-out of projects for bonding company.
  • Conducted field audits for new and ongoing construction projects throughout the United States, Canada & England, auditing procurement functions. 
  • Successfully managed the close-out of several “Terminated for Convenience” contracts including DCAA audits. 
  • Responsible for cash management of a construction & engineering firm with 25 branch locations covering 30+ states and $500 million in revenue.
  • Financial oversight for a $40 million electrical construction, joint-venture contract for the New York City Convention Center. 
  • Provided calculation and analysis of $31million of damages of a large detention center resulting in favorable recovery.
