Jannet Hurd has over 30 years of experience as a communications and marketing specialist. Presently for Delta, she oversees the company’s marketing and IT initiatives. Her experience includes advanced skills in strategic planning and partnerships, writing, editing, research, and events, as well as serving as project manager of multi-faceted programs; delivering them on time and within budget. She has hands-on experience developing and delivering a full range of print and electronic publications including: expert reports, user guides, brochures, data sheets, case studies, newsletters, white papers, advertisements, and web content.

In addition, she provides leadership, guidance, and direction in the design and implementation of the company’s technology systems. She oversees the administration of Delta’s technology infrastructure and associated software systems.

In the early 1980s’ Jannet began her career as one of the country’s first in-house marketing professional at a corporate law firm. Over the next two decades, she was the Director of Marketing at three national law firms. In this capacity she worked with well-known dignitaries such as Senators Bob Dole, George Mitchell, Lloyd Bentsen, as well as Governors Ann Richards, and James Blanchard. She was responsible for the firm’s overall strategic marketing, lateral partner integration programs, proposals, promotional materials, corporate retreats, attorney training programs, database design and management, website design and development, as well as managing the marketing budget and staff. She was also responsible for numerous prominent events including large parties at the 1992 and 1996 Republican and Democratic National Conventions as well as a myriad of receptions and seminars at the US Capitol, Carnegie Hall, The Hay Adams, The Willard, and at several fortune 100 company sites.

Prior to joining Delta, Jannet spent three years as the Vice President of Marketing for a company dedicated to providing a variety of outsourcing services (24/7) to Fortune 100 law firms and corporations. In addition, she served as the Communications Manager at a large company (annual revenue over $100 million) that provides technology solutions and professional business services to higher education institutions.
